Why It Needed?

    Recently the government of India announced that we are planning an amendment to link every Indian citizen's Aadhar card to their voter id card. This will facilitate a better and more transparent election in India and no one can temper the voting process. There will be no duplicate voting as every citizen will be mapped while doing the same so, if anyone wants to cast his/her vote twice it will not be possible.

How To Link Aadhar With Voter ID Card?

   For this citizen of India needs to produce an aadhar card as well as a voter id card and the people of India can do this by themselves by visiting the website. After login, they need to select the language by their choice and put the voter id card number in the given box as shown below after that select the state of the voter id card.

After giving the voter id card number need to click on fetch detail and the very details which will be related to this number will be shown, first verify the detail after verification click on next and move further.

         Now, it is time to put the aadhar number which will be linked with the voter id card for the same person along with the email id and the mobile number of the citizen. After filling all the details click on next to verify the details and if you find everything is looking good then click on next and the final step has been completed. After that citizen will get a tracking number so can he/she can see the current status of the application submitted recently.
